Jonathan Palmer Lakeland, conducting the Wiener Kammerorchester,

lets the sounds of pain roar.

Wiener Zeitung, December 2021

“Lakeland’s musical direction demonstrates his mastery of the dramatic nature of the work which he sharply and brilliantly executes.”

Olyrix, January 2022

As a conductor, Jonathan has worked on numerous critically acclaimed productions for opera companies and organizations in both Europe and North America, including Theater an der Wien in Vienna, Northern Ireland Opera in Belfast, and Royal Academy Opera in London.

"With wordless eloquence, he supported the singers with both brio and sensitivity, clearly relishing his involvement in the dramatic narrative."

The Herald, Stratford-upon-Thames
